LOCAL, SEASONAL MEAT AND COOKING RETREATS
Our aim is to provide to you local, seasonal and really delicious food.
Whether it is from our online shop selling wild meat, pies, specially prepared meals, seasonal preserves and condiments, OR our cooking days and retreats in our beautiful farmhouse situated in the Forest of Bowland (AONB), the local environment is at the centre of everything we do.

Our cooking days will take place in the farmhouse kitchen and our purpose built professional kitchen and is limited to maximum of 5 people on any of the courses.
Most of our courses are run as private workshops for you and your family and friends. We will chat, cook and eat our way through the day. Some of the cooking will be demonstration based, but you will have plenty of opportunity to get involved on a practical level too.
Full recipes and methods will be supplied to
each person.

Dominique is a classically trained pastry chef with a background in Michelin starred restaurants. Andrew has been in farming, field sports and foraging his whole life. Together they run Dale House, Barn and B&B and Dale House Kitchen.
Andrew was brought up in the countryside and is a qualified and experienced hunter, stalker and gamekeeper. He understands both the joys and the challenges of the natural environment and the need for balance and good sense in maintaining sustainability, high standards and best practice.
